Georgina started dancing at Victorian Ballet School from 5years of age. As she progressed through the school, Georgina completed her ballet assessments and also took classes in all dance styles including Jazz/funk, Character, Contemporary and Latin Dancing. Georgina also completed VCE Dance in secondary school at The Dance Factory. As well as dancing at VBS she also did classes at The Dance Factory and performed in a lot of their big shows and musicals .
After completing VCE, Georgina went on to study Dance Teaching and Business Management at Box Hill College of Tafe achieving excellent results for her high level of teaching and dancing. Later completing her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to register Victorian Ballet School as a Certified School, offering the nationally accredited Certificate I-IV in Dance through Australian Dance Institute.
Georgina became the owner and Director of Victorian Ballet School in 2007 and is now joined by her mum Mary Ginis in having the privilege of running the school together.
Georgina has written the Junior School Syllabus for Victorian Ballet School that ensures safe dance practice is taught and learnt by all students and is an excellent progression into the senior school, training with the Australian Dance Vision syllabus.
As a member of Australian Dance Vision Georgina attends Workshops regularly; is First Aid trained and holds a current Working with Children Check.
Georgina is regularly facilitating training workshops for Victorian Ballet School staff to help them achieve great results as dance teachers and to ensure the highest quality of teaching within the school that she is so passionate about.
